Once we had our daughter in 2014 things changed. People would always tell me that it would, and that my traveling days were over. But I … [Read more…]

How To Meditate

May 17, 2017 by Ariadne Hale Leave a Comment

Meditation is my therapy.  Day after day, year after year I have sat in silence with my eyes closed and meditated.  If you quiet the mind the soul will speak.  Finding that inner peace and calm is priceless.  All of us have to deal with stress and anxiety, some more than others but nonetheless it … [Read more…]

Blue Springs Florida

My plant ally for this month is this magical Witch My plant ally for this month is this magical Witches herb, Yarrow. She has quite the reputation for being a naughty girl as her nicknames are “devils playground” and “devils nettle”. She was known to be used by witches (and to help ward off evil witches) and even as late as the 17th century a witch was tried for using her.

Named after the legendary Achilles because his soldiers used her on their battle wounds to help heal them. Achilles was said to study under his mentor Chiron who is known as the wounded healer thus giving Yarrow the reputation of healing the wounded soul.

So many superstitions surround this plant, especially those with finding true love and divination purposes. Folklore has it that if a bride and groom wear or eat yarrow on their wedding day they will remain in love for seven years (not bad considering today’s statistics😜). If a bunch of yarrow is hung over a baby’s cradle on midsummers eve it will ward off all illness for the next year.

So many songs and rhymes have been made in her honor. With so many uses this plant is extremely helpful on so many levels.

I’m excited to deepen my relationship with her this month, her folklore has me quite intrigued. Aside from using this herb in all the preparations throughout the month I’ll also be sleeping with her under my pillow in a little sachet of dried flowers as she enhances visionary and prophetic dreams with her supernatural powers ☁️

Have you experienced the healing powers of yarrow?

✨🌙Moonday Money Magic🌙✨ Welcome to Marc ✨🌙Moonday Money Magic🌙✨

Welcome to March! Spring is just around the corner and the signs of new life are starting to sprout!

I love living my life with intention and mindfulness. This applies to every area of my life including my money. Being intentional can bring forth much success.

I always carve out some extra time on the first day of the month to do my financial checkup. I see how much we spent the previous month (and if we stuck to our budget 😜), track our net worth, and make sure our new budget for the month is in line with where it needs to be. I have simple spreadsheets I use to track it all.

This weeks money magic tip is to make a money spending plan for the month of March (money spending plan sounds so much less restrictive than budget right?!) Write down how much money you are bringing in this month (or a good estimate if it fluctuates) and write down all your regular occurring expenses and discretionary spending. See if you can categorize your spending and allocate a dollar amount to each category.

I personally do what’s called a zero-based budget. I assign every dollar I bring home to where I want it to go, what’s leftover after expenses gets assigned to a category as well, additional savings or sinking funds. This puts me in control instead of my money controlling me.

So once you’ve paid all your bills and figured out how much you want to spend on food, fun, etc, assign whatever is left over to where you want it to go. If you have debt you can put that money towards paying it off. If you are saving up for a big purchase in the future you can move that money to a separate savings account, or maybe you want to invest it. If you are spending more money than you make then it’s time to go back to the drawing board and cut expenses or find a way to increase your income.

What you decide is up to you but put it in it’s place, otherwise you may be prone to overspending and mindless spending. Then you end up asking yourself where all your money went and that’s no good. You don’t become rich by chance, you become rich by being intentional and taking control of your money. So do you want to be rich? You can be! Today’s a good day to start.
A little human design info... I’m a Projector, 1 A little human design info...
I’m a Projector, 1/3 triple split with splenic authority...which basically means that I live my highest expression of myself when I investigate first, and then experiment (research and discovery) and by trusting my intuition to be the guiding force in my life I thrive. I also live more in alignment when I wait for the invitation instead of trying to be recognized. My aura projects outwards and it’s absorbing and focused.

As I’ve been obsessed with studying human design for a while (among so many other obsessions 🤓) I’ve gotten an even deeper understanding of who I am and who I’m meant to be. I have to say when I discovered human design I was like holy shit! This makes so much sense!

I’m learning to live out the highest expression of the energies in my chart as well as dissecting my husbands (also a Projector) and children’s charts (my little girl is a Generator and my baby boy is a Manifestor) so that I can be there to support them in the best way for their human design.

It is truly incredible how the magic of life unfolds more harmoniously and naturally when you’re living in your power. When we have a deeper understanding of ourselves (and those we love or are in relationships with) we can experience life on such a beautiful level and overcome challenges more easily.

Human design is the intersection of science + spirituality. Once you have tapped into this “owners manual” to your life you can steer your life in the direction it’s meant to be going.

As a projector I have an undefined emotional solar plexus which means I take in others energies (empathic) and amplify it. I pick up on energies of others easily so I need alone time to discharge other people’s energy. I sleep better alone and the best eating style for me is conscious grazing (why I love finger foods). Self care is super important for my well being and I love to spend tons of time diving into topics and researching (like human design).

There is so much depth to human design and it is fascinating! What is your human design? If you don’t know you can look it up online with your date/time/place of birth.
Food of the gods...cacao is such a beautiful warmi Food of the gods...cacao is such a beautiful warming medicine for the heart. She helps connect me to the divine love within, filling me up with compassion. I invoke the spirit of cacao starting with my preparation, playing sacred cacao ceremony music, singing to it, instilling love as I blend it, meditating with it, honoring the steps it took for me to receive it, setting intentions, and giving thanks and gratitude to the spirit and elements.

This blend by @cacaoceremony is Tantric Rose Blossom and it is AMAZING!!! My most favorite blend so far with the most perfect array of flavors including rose petals, orange peel, Damiana, and licorice. If you love roses and cacao then I highly recommend this one 🌹
